In an age where packaging is often shown to be a major cause of waste and pollution, Carrier Bag Shop has taken it upon itself to become an innovator in providing environmentally friendly packaging.
 
They have set up a Bags to Trees initiative whereby the more paper bags they sell, the more money they will donate to selected tree foundations to help plant trees to replace the ones that have been used in the manufacture of the bags! They like to call it being environmentally friendly retrospectively.
